From Struggles to Strength: My Wellness Story

Hey, I’m Aniket

During the early stages of my life, I was an extremely sickly child with poor immunity and I constantly battled some degree of health issues.

As a toddler, I was diagnosed with eczema and asthma, and from my teens, I had to fight off the amazingly convenient irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
In and around that, I’m near enough certain I had some sort of eating disorder which wasn’t diagnosed.

I remember only weighing around 28-30kg when I was 12-13 years old…no wonder I was called ‘stickman’ at school. Before anyone gets in touch to ask, my attendance in school and college was very questionable.

Looking back, all of these challenges made me realise how important it was to prioritise my health and take control of my overall well-being.

Over the past 11+ years, I started taking things seriously and have become a fitness and wellness fanatic.

I’ve tried all sorts of approaches to stay healthy, fit, and well – from hitting the gym, hiking, and combat sports, to experimenting with callisthenics, intermittent fasting, and various dietary changes. I’ve been on a journey of discovering what truly works for me while helping some close friends, family, and colleagues along the way.

I firmly believe in taking others with you especially if you’re seeing some positive results. You never know who else could use the help.

Look, I’ll be the first one to say that I’m not an expert. I’m just a dude who’s deeply passionate about wellness and has learned a heck of a lot through intense research and of course, trial and error.
I know the trial and error approach may seem a bit odd, but how do you know if a specific wellness path is worth following unless you’ve given it a good go yourself?

I’ve experimented with nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle changes that have helped me overcome many of my health struggles which are now long gone. Along the way, I’ve also picked up valuable insights that mainstream health websites often overlook.

This blog is where I share my personal experiences, tips, and lessons I’ve learned. Whether you’re curious about wellness, and health, or need some practical advice, you’ll find a wealth of knowledge here.
